(image from 25 Mushrooms Kitchen) | We actually have 2 helpers at home: the main one is with us full-time and has been taking care of our household since I was pregnant with Scout, and the one who's with us for a day and a half a week (a.k.a. Yaya 2). Yaya 2 is the one that we're sending to Punlaan School for Housekeeping Service Program. Since Scout is now a lot more manageable and Yaya 1 has really been big help to us, we decided to help with one of the things that she would like to take up: cooking classes. She can actually cook, but she said that she would like to learn international cooking. So, A and I agreed to send her to 25 Mushrooms once a month. |
I suggested to A to send her off to the Vietnamese cuisine first because I have a Vietnamese cookbook that has the recipe for the dipping sauce that I liked. Through the class, she could learn the food preparation and cooking techniques. So, that when I give her the cookbook, she would know more how to handle it.
Armed with a kitchen towel, A's tablet, and cooking class fee, she set off to 25 Mushrooms. When she came back, she showed us these photos of what was prepared for the day:
