One of the things that I look out for whenever I go to the grocery are the markdown items. One, it's one way to stretch my budget and it actually helps me plan my menu since the dishes I would create would depend on the item that I just bought.
Grocery items that are usually on sale are those that are about to expire. But, did you know that they're still good for an extended period after the supposed expiry date?
Today, I just saw this article from Manila Bulletin dated 22 March (my birthday also) 2012. It featured the birthday cake that we had commissioned The Bunny Baker for A's dad.
The article may have been a few months old, but I couldn't help but feel more proud about this cake!

Everything's fine from where we are, no flood, but I couldn't say the same to a lot of people in the metro today. From where we are, this is how the rains are pouring:
I used to have a lot of allergies growing up I've tried almost everything that the doctor could come up with. It doesn't get rid of it, but it does help relieve some of the manifestations. A few years after I graduated from college, I learned about a clinic in Ortigas that offers both eastern and western medicine. The clinic was called SynergyMed Center located at Discovery Suites. I don't think it still exists, but if you guys have an idea if they moved to a different location, do drop me a note.
I'm not into jewelry (A's very happy with that), but I have been blessed to be given a number of them for free on several occasions. Most, I've gifted to family and friends. I just realized that my jewelry gifts are all Pandora!
