Remember the cocoa drink that I was telling you guys about during Fiestang Kuliat in Pampanga? Well, I wasn't able to get a hold of the actual tablea that they used, but I found an alternative when we went to Suzie's to buy pasalubong. Crowd favorite Tour Guide Kim was with us, so he gave me instructions on how to fix one up.

The instructions sounded simple at first: add milk. Apparently, it involved cooking. This is no ordinary chocolate drink to prepare as it's not an instant one. One has to cook it and stir constantly until the chocolate melts (at least that's how I ended up doing it with a wire whisk). Takes a lot of love with this one, but definitely worth the effort!

I added in some more milk to dilute it a bit more:

See how dense the chocolate mixture is? I had to stir in the mllk on top just to get everything blended together. Preparing it with batirol (I wish I had one), I think, would make an impact on the taste and texture of the drink. Note to self: write letter to Santa.

Anyway, nothing like a good cup of hot chocolate to share with A to make me feel better. Now he knows why I've been raving about it since I came back from Pampanga.

Maybe I should test it with baked goods. What do you think?
