The birthday dinner wouldn't have been tiring really. It's just that the schedules of the guests enabled us to start at 10PM and ended up til around 3AM. I don't mind since A only gets to see them around once a year.
I only have a 3-hour sleep today as I need to prepare lunch and what-have-yous for the blessing. It was a simple lunch of tapsilog (using JAM Food's Angus Beef Tapa - which I will blog on as a separate post) and sautéed baby bok choy in fish eggs (will enter as a separate post also). A no-leftover turnout is a good sign of people who enjoyed what they ate.
Of course lunch was followed by 3 chaotic kids trying to bring the place down despite showing a back-to-back movie of Despicable Me and Kung Fu Panda 2. I'm just glad that the place is still intact.
After the family left, Snuz was bugging me to take her out for a walk. So, I did. I left A at home so he could rest a bit. When we got back, I just pretty much spent the rest of the day on our daybed.
A few minutes back, A asked me if I would like some hot water for bathing. Then I remembered that I still haven't arranged for our water heater to be installed (One step at a time. I'm working on it). I told A that I can manage, but he was insisting so that I could take a few more minutes of laying in bed. I just love A even for his little things. Now, I end the day with a nice, warm bath.
