It's a simple dish to make. Just your basic omelette mixed with slices of italian sausage (I was clearing up this week's perishables also, thus, the presence of the sausage). I also made a batch of a copycat version of Subway's Sweet Onion Sauce that I got from Top Secret Recipe's site. I was planning to use it on a number of sandwich recipes (note to self, buy sandwich ingredients). I used some of the sauce on top of the omelette just to see how it tastes.
I could use some more practice in tweaking the sweet onion recipe (though it still wouldn't make me stop going to Subway), but it's still a good sauce to have at home.
