I've gone through a number of recipes for Htipiti, but I was looking more for a rustic one. Site after site of reviewing the recipes, I ended up with this version. It's simple and easy to follow. I just made sure that I have my secret weapons: good olive oil (I couldn't find a greek one so I used the Tunisian brand, Berber) and feta cheese. These 2 ingredients would be giving the most flavor in the spread.
It was a simple dinner for A and I today, but we both enjoyed it. I've managed to save some more in the fridge for A's consumption with his favorite pita bread from Assad's Mini Mart.
