One thing I've learned from other couples with children is to have some alone time with your significant others. Tonight is one of those times. I took A on a date to watch
We took the VIP with dinner buffet seating. I couldn't care less about the food, but it's more of the scope of the view of the show. We were fortunate to get front and center seats for an unobstructed view of the show. Tonight was United Kingdom vs. Spain. You can watch the videos here:

Remember when I said that I couldn't care less about the food? It's a good thing that my mindset was more on getting a really good view of the show (some fireworks are actually launched on the water, which may be difficult to see the farther you're away from the barge). The food, over the years, has been horrible for the price that you've paid for it. It's buffet, but not really the type that you'd go back for seconds. One of the worst ground beef toppings on nachos that I've ever tasted! Based on the shirts that I see some of the servers were wearing, they're catered by Jatujak (a Thai resto). We were supposed to be served cuisines from the competing countries, and if the food served was their take on their food, I'd feel so ashamed...and to think the British Ambassador to the UK was there in the event.
Anyway, the match between the two countries was spectacular. UK was the winner last year. It went against Korea that time, but one could see the performance difference between them. I would have to say that Spain actually put up a good fight with the defending champion.
The competition will run until March 22. So, you could still catch a few more shows.
