I've been trying different recipes once in a while in search of the braising sauce that I've tasted from about 8 years back. After going through a number of trials, I've ended up with this simple one:
1/2c water or vegetable broth
1T light soy sauce
1T oyster sauce
1T brown sugar
minced garlic
grated ginger
Just mix and heat everything together in a sauce pan. Pour over your favorite veggies and there you go! Can't be any easier than that!
