I received this opportunity from the soon to open Mind Museum (opens to the public on 16 March). For Php600, one gets to sponsor 4 public school student to visit the Mind Museum. In exchange for the donation, you can visit the museum a month before it opens to the public. Without batting an eyelash, I made a donation to sponsor several students.
Growing up in a public school, I understand that not everyone may have the opportunity to visit a state-of-the-art facility. As far as getting an education is concerned, I'm all for giving equal opportunity for everyone who seeks to have it.
A Php600 per person donation isn't that steep considering that it's the same as the regular rate for an adult when the museum opens to the public. So, why not spend the same amount while being able to sponsor 4 public school kids with it, right?
