I'm all for continuing education if time permits. Money used to be an issue, but with the number of options all over as far as learning would go, the world is your oyster. I've kept myself updated and started to learn new things of interest by taking free webinars from different institutions. I've introduced this method to A since it's a good opportunity. He's started taking lessons from Udacity. I think he's appreciating the lessons as it contains quizzes that you need to pass. He's actually having a session now as of this writing.
