Day before Chinese New Year (CNY) and we're still prepping up the abode. A and I went to Rockwell to buy some fruits and other stuffs for our treasure table.
We just have a simple treasure table. A mixture of fruits, sweets, tikoy, and bread.
No cooked meals since it's just the 3 of us here. I'll be buying our dinner for tomorrow night when I get to the office (I wonder what's the CNY special at work). The Chinese have this belief that cooking is not allowed in the household on CNY because it involved using sharp objects such as knives.
Anyway, going back to the treasure table highlights. The chocolates are from Aji Ichiban:

The pineapple vase was a surprise find at Saizen. I wasn't looking for a vase. I just happened to pass by the gardening section when it caught my eye. Opportunity really has a way of presenting itself to you.
I added colored water in it. Kind of reminiscent of our table centerpiece during our wedding:
Well, that's our CNY home shindig for today. I should remember to bring my camera tomorrow in case I see a lion dance somewhere.
