ETCs: Chinabank Online - My New Convenient Way Of Buying A Prepaid Callcard

I like how online things make certain aspects of my life easy. One of the things that I sometimes feel so lazy to do is buying load credit for my phone SIM. I know, I know, with all the convenient ways and outlets that offer the service, I still fail to do so sometimes (unless I really need the credit).

Why not get a postpaid line to avoid the hassle of having to go to a store to reload? With all the good prepaid offers from the different telcos nowadays and combine it with those who are selling share-a-load (for Globe), it's cheaper to maintain a prepaid SIM.

So, what's the problem? There was a time that I ran out of credits, but needed to call someone and I had no access to a landline, but have access to the internet. I tried buying credits online, but encountered the following problems:
1. They cost more than the actual credit that you intend to purchase
2. You don't get the callcard details in real-time. It takes hours if not days, depending on the site.

Well, that came to an end with the help of Chinabank Online.
I opened an account with Chinabank when I needed a checking account. Aside from the fact that their ChinaCheck Plus have easy application requirements, there's a branch that close to both my home and workplace. I enrolled my account for their online banking facility for more convenience.

I went online to check if they accommodate Sun Cellular payments. It appears that they don't have it on their service menu, but that's OK since our workplace has its own Bayad Center branch.

Anyway, I was giving myself a tour of their online portal when I bumped into their prepaid card menu. I clicked on it and found this:

I tried purchasing one and got the callcard details right after the transaction. The amount deducted from my account is just the same amount of the credit that I bought. The system also sent me an email advising me of the details of the transaction. Perfect!

One scenario solved!
