Since I'm been bitten by the Holiday lazy bug, I'm been getting lazy of doing the task of cleaning our ionizer every 2 days. So I've decided to use a reed diffuser instead.
I've been trying to look for one for weeks and they don't usually come cheap. Well, most cheap ones tend to lose their scent at a faster rate. The one that I did like was in Rockwell, but it costs Php2,400...and that's just for one unit!

Now, I may not agree on splurging on some things (though I have no plans of buying that reed diffuser kit at Rockwell), but I did decide to spend on good materials for our DIY reed diffuser kit.
A and I were spending doing some Christmas shopping over at Eastwood Mall when I saw Mia Maison's booth. They were offering a 20% on their items. I just found it quite timely and ended up buying a couple of things from them.

As for the containers, I didn't want to spend much on them. I just need something with a small opening so that the liquid wouldn't evaporate fast. So, I tried to look for one over at Japan Home and found this:

Assembly's just easy: pour the scented liquid into the container and place in the reed sticks. And off you go!
Unfortunately, the Eiffel Tower container can only handle 3-4 sticks. So, it wasn't diffusing as much scent as I wanted it to. Good thing I remembered that we still have a couple of empty Heinz Ketchup baby bottles.
I ended up using both bottles and barely half of the scented liquid bottle. That makes a total of 4 reed diffuser kits (I bought 2 Eiffel Tower containers) . I had a bottle placed in our foyer, bathroom, and workstations. The fourth kit was given as a gift to my friend . Now, we're just being welcomed by the fresh bamboo scent all over our home!
