Glass lamps are so in nowadays. I keep seeing them in malls and can be quite pricey, ranging up to a few thousands depending on the size and details involved. I really like them as a decor, but not really interested in using the lamps. So, I had to resort to other means. I have an idea on how to go about it, it's more of the availability of the materials that I need to worry about. |
1. nice glass bottle
2. glass paint
3. sponge to dab the paint onto the bottle
4. lamp shade
I couldn't find a lamp shade that I like, but opted to use an alternative material: pen holder. So, here are the components of our blue glass lamp:
price: free. Thanks to my alcoholic colleagues | price: Php 125 at National Bookstore | fluffy pen holder price: Php25 at Saizen |
