Chocolate in Pasta? Why Not Chocnut?

Not exactly the type of reaction I was expecting from A, but yeah... it's what we ordered at Max Brenner for dinner - White Chocolate Alfredo with Bacon and Mushrooms.

It's, uhm...interesting. Well, it's not bad-tasting, but it most certainly is rather new to my tastebuds. Bacony-salty with a sweet twist due to the presence of the white chocolate. Would I order it again, probably not. Would I recommend it to friends? Certainly (and it's not because I hate you guys)! It's a culinary education on what it means to really play with taste.

One thing I could say about it is that the chocolate is good! Having said that, we decided to get some dessert and went on to order churros. It came with chocolate and strawberry dips. I've said it before and I'll say it again...the chocolate is good.
