AIS Mum: Let the chasing begin...

Scout started taking his unsupported baby steps at  months. People say boys start walking at a later time as compared to girls. I guess he's in a hurry to explore the world. So, we set out to explore the world of walkers.

I remember using a rattan baby walker, like the one in the photo here, when I was a baby. Karang is the local name for it, I think. But, looking at the structure now, I had safety issues on it as Scout tends to lean all over the place.

I tried to look for walkers, but found them bulky and would just eat up around the same space as his exersaucer. Plus, he seems to be getting lazy on how he uses it it.

A mentioned push walkers. So, I started browsing the net about the difference between traditional and push walkers.
Didn't really take long for Scout to have one since someone gifted him with this:
Come to think of it, this type would grow along with him since it converts to a buggy that he can ride on. Scout actually plays with the shape sorter more. He would use the push walker when he feels like taking more steps than his usual, like going to the bedroom to wake A up. Sort of makes me feel like he's trying to show off his dad what he can do.

Between Scout's playpen, Leap Frog Animal Adventure Activity Table, Bright Starts Bounce Bounce Baby, ELC Wobble Toddle Ride-on, and floor mat, our household's pretty busy trying to chase this wee one around. Not that it's a bad thing =)
